EKL4 Short Circuit and Earth Fault Indicator Tester
Short circuit and earth fault indicator form a complete set and are ntalled on RMU, cable branch box, substation in the electricity distribution network system, which is a kind of real-time monitoring device of short circuit and single-phase ground fault used for pointing out the sector of corresponding cable. The circuit breaks down, staff members can rely on the warning instruction of the indicating device, confirm the fault section rapidly,and find out the faulty point. Meanwhile, the warning message can be sent to the server of the control center in time, reveal the faulty area and concrete position and lead line patrol to confrm the faulty section and find out the faulty point rapidly. Main function :
1. Short circuit alarming and indicating: Short circuit sensor measures the circuit at work, when the electric current reaches or exceeds the setting value of the short circuit current when the short trouble takes place in the circuit, short circuit sensor send out the alarm signal,transmit to the indicator computer via the wire (the optic fiber),after the indicator computer receives this signal, it produces the corresponding warmning indicator signal.
2. Earthing alarming and indicating The earthing sensor measures the zero sequence current of the circuit at work, when the earthing current reaches or exceeds the setting value of the earthing current when the ground fault takes place in the circuit,the3.Low voltage alarming and indicating The indicator adopts battery power supply, it will send out voltage signal when the voltage of battery is below normal working voltage.
3. Ov to remind workers to change battery Low battery alerting function couldseparately indicate no less than 60 lasting days,earthing sensor will send out the alarm signal, transmit to the indicator computer via the wire (the optic fiber) , after the indicator computer receives this signal,t produces the corresponding warning indicator signal.
4. Reset automaticall: After the indicating device sends out the alarm signal, if it was not reset manually, after the stting time, the indicating device can be reset automatically.
5. Manual reset: After the indicating device alerts, operator could release the alerts through pushing”resets 1 tests”button on the indicator indicator panel after holding for 3 seconds.
6.Automation: After the indicating device produces the corresponding warning indicator signal,it will output the remote alarm signal transmission. The indicating device can also receive the reset signal from the distant place, and will reset it by remote operation.
7.Test: The indicator can carry on the work of self test.
